Responsible Service of Alcohol
Sporties is a proud member of the Liverpool City Liquor Accord.
If a staff member suspects a patron has had too much alcohol he/she should consult with other staff members who are currently working with he/she at that time if a decision is made not to serve any more alcohol to this person all staff are to abide by this decision.
If the person concerned becomes a problem when not accepting your decision, you are to notify management or security who will explain more fully the Responsible Serving Practices of Moorebank Sports Club.
Staff should remain placid at all times as experience shows us that the public are becomming more aware of the staff responsibilty towards the service of alcohol.
Staff should feel free to offer the patron in question a free soft drink, glass of water or even offer to call a taxi for him/her.
At all times, staff can refer the patron to any of the numerous signs, which are on display throughout the club's premises.
